Installation Supervisor 1

Responsibilities

  • Serve as initial point of contact for Contract Companies and provide assistance concerning technical and customer issues.
  • Create an atmosphere of partnership with National Contracting companies that will ensure a proactive approach to improving policies and procedures that will better serve our Customers.
  • Create tracking mechanisms that ensure accurate and timely reports of contractor performance.
  • Create and implement recommendations based on the above.
  • Facilitate prompt completion of Subscriber escalations by Contract Installation Companies.
  • Ensure contracting companies are current with training on new products and services.
  • Spend time in the Field assisting, inspecting Technicians' work as indicated by Supervisor.
  • Complete surveys at MDU's in order to provide hook-up abilities.
  • Tracks and ensures the completion of all pending cable replacements.
  • Operate hand tools, as required.
  • Address individual customer complaints that are installed or service related.
  • Note Billing Accounts on all escalations.
  • Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and inventory.
  • Report performance and conduct issues, as appropriate, to Supervisor.
  • Monitor safety and quality standards.
  • Must be available at all times during shift.
  • Maintain an understanding of general operating cable procedures, programming and technical specifications.
  • Be familiar and adhere to Servicom employment policies, including the Motor Vehicle Policy, Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.
  • Ensure contractor performances exceed our Customer's expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of Supervising contractors with positive results.
  • Must have PC skills to create reports and track activity
  • Must have project management experience and analytical background.
  • Must have supervisory experience with multiple direct reports and proven positive results.

Operational Competencies:

  • Ability to perform all job functions of a CT1, CT2 and CT3 (Preferred).
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.

Training/Licenses/Certifications:

  • CT 3 certified (Preferred).
  • Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 85 lbs. (ladder and tools)
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to climb a 28 ft ladder and work aloft
